Online Bill Pay FAQ

Q. Whom can I pay through Online Bill Pay?

A. You can pay anyone in the United States. Once you have set up the vendor/payee information, you can pay credit card accounts, utility companies, professionals, auto loans, even a lawn service or relative. All you need is access to the internet with a secure browser, and you can pay your bills from anywhere.

Q. When will the money be taken out of my account?

A. Electronic payments and payments made by check will be debited from your account on the Due Date you set when paying the bill.

Q. What happens if I do not have enough money in my account?

A. All bill payment items will be treated just like any other check or debit you authorize.

Q. Can I get a copy of a cancelled check?

A. Yes, you may request a copy of the cleared check through Alliance Bank.

Q. Is there a limit on the number of payees I many have set up?

A. There is no limit of payees you can set up through the Online Bill Pay system.

Q. Can I use Online Bill Pay with all my accounts?

A. Only checking accounts can be used for bill payment purposes.

Q. Is it possible to schedule recurring payments?

A. Yes, you can schedule weekly, semi-monthly and monthly recurring payments. The final payment of a recurring payment scheme is designated by a ‘Final Payment Date’.
