Our new branch facility in Jackson is nearing completion, so we thought we would give an update! We are pleased about the work that has been done and very excited for everyone to see the finished product. The outside of the building is nearing completion. There are just a couple big items left to finish, the pouring of the parking lot and landscaping. Employees of Alliance Bank in Cape sent notes to the 5th graders at Jackson’s South Elementary School. These notes were to give the students encouragement and support while they are in the midst of Map Testing. Map Tests are computer adaptive achievement tests in Mathematics and Reading. Schools use Map Testing to assess a student’s learning level and can determine where each student is performing in relation to local, state and national norms. We would like to welcome Brett Harper to our Alliance Bank family. Brett has been in banking for almost 3 years and joins us as a Commercial Lender. Jerry and Jane Cox have been in the farming business over 40 years. Upon the completion of college, Jerry began farming with his father and eventually was able to take over the family farming operation. Their business consists primarily of row crops, covering 2000 acres, located around the rural towns of Delta-Arbor, in Cape County. They raise corn and soybeans that consistently place in the National Corn Growers Association, with some of the top yields of corn in Missouri and nationally. We would like to welcome Darrell Aufdenberg to our Alliance Bank family. Darrell has been in banking for over 20 years and joins us as a Commercial Loan Officer. Most of his career has focused on agricultural lending. Darrell is heavily involved in the SEMO District Fair Board and the Jackson Chamber of Commerce. Spotlight: Dunning Farms

Dunning Farms is a family farming operation located just west of Advance, MO. A few years back, Jared took over the farming operation when his father Jerry decided to retire. Their farming operation consists primarily of 1,550 acres of row crops where they raise corn, wheat and soybeans. Alliance Bank staff and community leaders gathered to watch Community Bank President Wade “Pee Wee” Bartels cut the Grand Opening Ribbon at our new Branch location in Jackson, March 9th, 2017.  While this facility is just temporary for now, our contractor, Columbia Construction will begin construction on the permanent facility soon. Our longtime employee and friend, Jim Gosche, is retiring from Alliance Bank after 13 years.  At this point, Jim can be named a lending expert; he has been in lending since 1975, and has been with Alliance Bank since January of 2004.  “My experience with Alliance Bank has been nothing but ‘A Great Place to Work’ The support that I have received from upper management all the way down to a beginning teller has made it an excellent place to work and eventually retire my banking career.” Jim isn’t saying go... We’re holding a competition at Alliance Bank to see who can collect the most non-perishable foods and/or monetary donations now through Friday, November 18th; and for an amazing cause!
