Meet Our President

As of June 1st, Alliance Bank has named Wade “Pee Wee” Bartels as President/CEO.  He is now leading the bank in its mission to be the preferred community bank provider of financial services in the markets they serve. Dr. Bartels has been with Alliance Bank for the past 4 years as Community Bank President of the Cape Girardeau and Jackson branches. We are sad to share that Jerry D. Pullen, Board Member of Alliance Bank and Chairman of Alliance Bancshares, Inc, passed away on May 20, 2020.   Mr. Pullen served more than 20 years in some capacity on the Alliance Bank Board of Directors. Bill and Nathan Holmes

This father and son farming operation farms and reside in the Oran, Missouri area.  Their farm land is around the 3000-acre mark where they grow soybeans, corn and rice, utilizing the latest technology in the agriculture industry to maximize their efficiency and yields.  In addition to farming, they have recently launched a new business, PumpTrakr.  This is a platform that manages irrigation well pump locations, activity, fuel levels, maintenance concerns and more, all in one convenient smartphone app. Please see below for m... Alliance Bank Baby!

Alyssa Blakely, an employee of our Sikeston Branch, will be welcoming a new baby girl in the upcoming month! Her co-workers surprised her with a Baby Shower to celebrate.

In Loving Memory

 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and coworker, Diane Duncan. Diane passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Southeast Hospital. Visitation services will be Friday, November 1, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Ford and Sons Funeral Home on Sprigg Street in Cape Girardeau. The funeral will be Saturday, November 2, at 10:30 am, also at Ford and Sons Funeral Home. On the evening of July 3rd, Alliance Bank helped out at the Veterans Home Fireworks display held at Cape County Park. Employees worked the VFW stand by serving refreshments to the spectators. A fun time was had by all who attended and it allowed Alliance Bank an opportunity to give back to our great community.

The current family farm started with 80 acres from Robert's Grandpa and Grandma Paul and Irmina Pobst, along with another 80 acres from Grandpa and Grandma Clarence and Mary Graviett. Robert's parents Bill and Marietta Graviett purchased the farm from their parents. Then Robert and Carla Graviett purchased the farm from his parents in 1994. When Robert and Carla started farming, Robert had a full time job which he continued working until he retired in 2015. Carla also worked substituting for the local mail carrier for 15 years.
