On the evening of July 3rd, Alliance Bank helped out at the Veterans Home Fireworks display held at Cape County Park. Employees worked the VFW stand by serving refreshments to the spectators. A fun time was had by all who attended and it allowed Alliance Bank an opportunity to give back to our great community.

Business of the Year Award

SEMO Alliance for Disability and Independence (SADI), held their 1st Annual Disability Awareness Celebration Open House on October 25th, 2018. Employees of Alliance Bank in Cape sent notes to the 5th graders at Jackson’s South Elementary School. These notes were to give the students encouragement and support while they are in the midst of Map Testing. Map Tests are computer adaptive achievement tests in Mathematics and Reading. Schools use Map Testing to assess a student’s learning level and can determine where each student is performing in relation to local, state and national norms. Jerry and Jane Cox have been in the farming business over 40 years. Upon the completion of college, Jerry began farming with his father and eventually was able to take over the family farming operation. Their business consists primarily of row crops, covering 2000 acres, located around the rural towns of Delta-Arbor, in Cape County. They raise corn and soybeans that consistently place in the National Corn Growers Association, with some of the top yields of corn in Missouri and nationally. Spotlight: Dunning Farms

Dunning Farms is a family farming operation located just west of Advance, MO. A few years back, Jared took over the farming operation when his father Jerry decided to retire. Their farming operation consists primarily of 1,550 acres of row crops where they raise corn, wheat and soybeans. It’s that time again for our annual Customer Appreciation Day!

The free fun will be in our rear parking lot on October 21st. We are blessed to have such loyal customers, and this is one way for us to say thank you!

Mark your calendars: Alliance Bank has two community events that will benefit your health, and your conscience! In the month of October, we’re holding an on-site blood drive, and a flu shot clinic!  The blood drive will be at our Cape Girardeau location (217 N. After spending 13 years with Alliance Bank, Karlis Hennrich is going to step back for a slower pace and enjoy life. Karlis, Assistant Cashier, has experienced a variety of changes while employed at Alliance Bank.  She started in 2002 applying as a Teller.   Being recognized as having other talents, she was quickly invited to assist in the Bookkeeping Department – which is where the rest of her time has been spent.   Experience as a front-line teller was very beneficial in her final post as Assistant Cashier. ...
